Chopstix Noodle Bar opens its first airport site in Luton Airport

The Noodle Bar chain, Chopstix, has opened its newest store, and first-ever airport location, at Luton Airport last week.

The new London Luton Airport site, located in the departure lounge, after security, is an important strategic step in the group’s expansion plans, and demonstrates the versatility of the Chopstix proposition.

The Pan-Asian QSR, which is set to open at least 30 sites in 2023, has seen accelerated growth over the last 24 months, in part due to its flexible model, which means the brand can operate in a wide range of unit types.

Amongst the brand’s portfolio of sites are highly successful motorway service area locations, holiday park units, and restaurants across major towns and cities in food courts, town centres and shopping centres.

Rob Burns, marketing director, said: “Our team is looking forward to welcoming travellers through the doors as we open just in time for the busy summer months. Luton Airport has an exciting range of restaurants and we are excited to join the ranks.”

Jon Lake, Managing Director of Chopstix, added, “There is such momentum behind the brand, and the launch of our first airport site feels like a real watershed moment. Operating in high footfall transport hubs not only drives revenue, but grows brand awareness internationally, so we’re delighted to have secured this location at London Luton Airport.'
