Franco Manca to double the size of portfolio


London based pizza restaurant group Franco Manca, has announced plans to open a further six sites in the capital over the next 18 months, adding to its current portfolio of 6 sites.

Led by former Pizza Express chief executive David Page and Italian chef Giuseppe Mascoli, the highly acclaimed Franco Manca also revealed it is looking at options to franchise the brand overseas.

The company most recently opened a site on London's Tottenham Court Road, with future openings planned for South Kensington in the first half of next year and a site in Broadway Market in Hackney.

The group is also understood to be in talks to acquire the The Draft House on Lordship Lane in East Dulwich which is currently owned The Draft House Group who own a small number of high end pubs in London.
