Max’s Sandwich Shop launches six-month Dalston bar residency

Top London sandwich shop Max’s in Crouch End is opening a six-month residency tonight at Dalston live music bar, Birthdays.

Birthdays, which is split over two levels, is launching the residency at its 5th birthday party tonight which is offering free drinks and sandwiches. The venue features a stripped back bar and eating area upstairs, with live music acts and DJs in the basement.

The sarnie king, Max Halley (pictured) will be serving up his popular creations like Ham, Egg ’n' Chips, which is made with homemade foccacia, hock ham, fried egg, mayo, piccalilli and shoestring fries.

There's also The Robo-Coq with confit guinea fowl, chicken liver parfait, chicory, sweet potato fries and a parsley and dill pickle salsa.

As Birthdays has a slushy machine, Halle will be using it to make cocktails, like frozen margaritas, and the Crouch End shop’s signature drink, Campari and orange.
