Neighbourhood to launch £1.7m third site in Leeds

The team behind the restaurant concept Neighbourhood has announced plans to launch a third site in Leeds.

Owners, East Coast Concepts, has invested £1.7m in the new site, which will open at the former Carluccio’s unit on Greek Street.

James Hitchen, East Coast Concepts CEO, said, “The concept behind Neighbourhood is to create the best party imaginable, perpetually occurring, always delivering, visionary but without pretence or artifice – the sort of experience that feels like it is once in a lifetime but is actually always available at Neighbourhood to those in the know.'

“We’ve been planning to come to Leeds for a while and now feels like exactly the right time. It’s an extremely exciting development for the brand and a whole new entertainment concept for the city.”

The company opened the first Neighbourhood restaurant in Manchester’s Spinningfields in 2012 and opened a second Neighbourhood restaurant in Liverpool last year. The third site is set to open in Leeds in August.
