Eden Mill, the St Andrews-based distillery and brewery, has crafted a £1.1m deal to supply ALDI stores in Scotland with a range of bespoke botanical gins and pre-mixed cocktails.
Three varieties of Eden Mill’s Botanical Project range will be available to ALDI shoppers including; Limited Release Craft Gin in Blueberry & Vanilla, Chilli & Ginger or its Traditional Batch Gin for £19.99 each (43%/50cl).
In addition, Eden Mill’s Mixology Project is available in all 74 ALDI stores in Scotland as a Specialbuy. The Mixology Project is a range of ready-to-pour cocktails made with Eden Mill’s small-batch gins available in Basil Smash, Citrus Fizz or Berry Bramble for £2.49 from 27th July while stocks last.
Eden Mill was founded by Paul Miller in 2012 as Scotland’s first combined brewery and distillery. The contract builds on an existing relationship with ALDI which resulted in Eden Mill’s craft beers being included in ALDI’s in-store Scottish Beer Festivals.
Miller said, “With the Botanical Project our distillers have created three amazing varieties of gin. These will be on ALDI shelves for at least the next 12 months and we see great potential to extend this in the future. We’re also thrilled that our ready-to-pour cocktail range will be in ALDI as a Specialbuy this summer.
