Elior UK celebrates 12 outstanding employees

Leading contract caterer Elior UK celebrated its outstanding employees on 21 March at the company’s 14th annual Elior Awards for Excellence – hosted by TV and film star James Nesbitt, Elior chief executive Catherine Roe, and head of HR Justin Johnson.

More than 200 guests – including suppliers, clients, and finalists – attended the ceremony at the historic 8 Northumberland Avenue, where 12 Elior colleagues walked up to collect their award and this year’s prize – a trip to New York City.

Catherine Roe, Elior UK chief executive, (pictured left with winner Lauren Bartlett and James Nesbit) said, “Our people are the beating heart of what we do. Their hard work, skill, and passion for exceptional service are what make an Elior moment like no other. These awards are the perfect way to celebrate that. Congratulations to all our winners. I hope you all enjoy New York.”

Once again, the winner of the You Made a Difference award (which recognises the Elior colleague who has gone above and beyond in the name of customer service) was decided by a live-vote from the audience. While in a break from tradition, a new category – Sustainability Contribution – was added to the awards this year.
