New GM for The Goring

Jeremy Goring, CEO, and David Morgan-Hewitt, Managing Director, have announced the promotion of Stuart Geddes to General Manager of The Goring.

After several years at The Ritz, Stuart first joined The Goring in 2006. In 2014 he was promoted to Hotel Manager of the five-star Belgravia property. During this time The Goring was granted a Royal Warrant of appointment to HM The Queen for Hospitality Services and awarded Forbes Five Stars.

The Goring is London's only family-owned and run five-star hotel. Alongside the 69 rooms and suites, Stuart oversees the Bar & Lounge and the Michelin-starred restaurant, The Dining Room. During his twelve years at the hotel, Stuart has upheld the impeccable standards, generous hospitality, and subtle streak of wit and wonder that runs throughout The Goring.

Goring said, “Stuart has an incredible dedication to the impeccable experience of each and every guest and is focused on nurturing this same ethos in the team at The Goring. I could not be more delighted to announce his promotion to general manager, and I look forward to many more years of working together.”

Geddes commented, “It is an absolute privilege to take the position of General Manager at The Goring. The hotel’s wonderful history, high standards and commitment to first-class service make it such an exciting and rewarding place to work, and I will remain dedicated to building on our already prestigious reputation as one of London’s finest luxury hotels.'
