New SW11 Indian restaurant launches shisha terrace

As the mercury rises so too does our desire to socialise al fresco. Fortunately, south west London can now lay claim to a rather spectacular new outside space in which to eat, drink, and enjoy shisha.

Since it opened in April, Chokhi Dhani has been gaining a reputation for innovative food – spearheaded by a selection of incredible dishes from the brand’s birthplace of Rajasthan – not to mention its lively atmosphere and exceptional service.

Now this much talked about new destination has put the finishing touches to a glorious riverside terrace. Here you can not only imbibe one of Chokhi Dhani’s signature cocktails and tapas-style plates of flavoursome street food, but also enjoy one of the capital’s most extensive shisha menus.

Such is the myriad of different flavours on offer here that Chokhi Dhani even has its very own shisha sommelier. Sam is on hand to help everyone from the uninitiated to the connoisseur, whether their tastes run to the familiar strawberry, apple or grape or to the rather more exotic. Red gummi bears and pistachio breeze anyone?! And when the temperatures really heat up, there is even an array of frozen flavours available on request.

A vibrant spot by night, by day Chokhi Dhani’s terrace becomes a place for quiet reflection. Enjoy a refreshing cup of tea, and perhaps a book from the small library, and while away the afternoon as the Thames flows serenely beyond.
