Loughland, who has more than 25 years of experience in the hospitality sector both in the UK and overseas, brings a wealth of knowledge to his new role.

Loughland said, “I’m thrilled to have joined glh Hotels. After working abroad in Malaysia, Thailand and Saudi Arabia, among other countries, I am really excited to be back in London. It is such an exciting city and I am now seeing the sights with a fresh pair of eyes.

'There are huge opportunities to develop the two hotels and I am keen to start putting my ideas into action.”
