Freshly Chopped to launch in UK & beyond with 10 new sites before Xmas

Freshly Chopped of Ireland is planning to create 150 jobs at ten new healthy fast food outlets by the end of the year, including launching the brand in the UK in Manchester.

The salad bar chain's new site in Northern Ireland will open at Ulster University's Belfast campus this weekend in conjunction with outsourcing giant the Mount Charles Group, making it the chain's 50th outlet overall.

Freshly Chopped's first outlet in Northern Ireland launched in June at Maxol, the A26 Tannaghmore service station, and since then branches have also opened in Rosepark Service Station in east Belfast, Glenabbbey Service Station in Glengormley.

A total of six branches of Freshly Chopped are set to open across Donegal and Northern Ireland, with its branch on Donegall Square set to open in mid-October.

New sites will also be opening in the Republic, and Cyprus by Christmas this year.

Crisp lettuce selections, garden fresh vegetables, incredible salad dressings and more than 90 ingredients are 'chopped' and freshly dressed into Chopped’s unique salad bowls, sandwiches or wraps.

Freshly Chopped was first opened in 2012 by Dublin entrepreneurs Brian Lee and Andy Chen in 2012 with an outlet on Baggot Street in Dublin.
