New meeting spaces unveiled for four star Bristol hotel

New meeting spaces have been unveiled at the Thwaites' four star Aztec Hotel & Spa, Bristol. The stylish rooms can be used for traditional meetings or private dining or for group celebrations.

They are the latest in the hotel’s transformation programme, which is seeing over a million pounds being invested in upgrading every aspect of the property.

The latest refurbishment includes the launch of four rooms that can comfortably fit up to 15 people each and the relaunch of a larger room (the Culbone Suite) that can host up to 100.
Each has been elegantly decorated, bright and airy, with feature artwork and lighting to help enable the hotel to create more unique experiences and environments.

Earlier this year Aztec Hotel & Spa launched a range of creative space options, which included a choice of traditional chairs, beanbags, picnic tables and benches and even astro-turf along with touch screen TVs, break-out zones, magnetic thinking boards and team building options.

General Manager, Gareth Ireland, said, “We have seen a rise in the number of people who are opting for something different so their meeting or conference is more memorable or interactive for their guests.

“For us, creating the right environment is important. We all know first impressions count, so we’ve added a new wow factor – but we’ve also thought through the all important productivity elements so that people can be connected or network with ease.

“But we’ve made sure that we’ve also kept hold of the things people say they value like the dedicated meeting host and conference cafe food and drink options.

“It’s all about making someone’s event memorable and we think there are many ways we can help people to do that.”
