Burger & Beyond to open first perm restaurant

This winter, Burger & Beyond is opening doors to its first restaurant on Shoreditch High Street, which will bring the signature buns to a permanent site for the very first time, as well as a new expanded menu.

In keeping with the brand's current residencies at Kerb, Street Feast and the latest at Camden Assembly, the brand’s burgers and sides, honed after three and a half years in the business, will take centre stage. ‘Drinking snacks’ and ‘Small Plates’ will show the team’s creative side alongside a list of crafted cocktails and drinks.

Diners can choose from a selection of drinking snacks such as Chicken skin and Bread with bone marrow butter, and a range of small plates including Shaved rib cap with anchovy butter; Deep fried lamb nuggets with a burnt onion dip; and Mushrooms, cured egg yolk with lardo on toast.

Burger & Beyond fans will be excited to hear of new additions on the burger list including Fried Hot Fish (crispy line caught cod, Nashville hot sauce, kaffir lime herb mayo, crunch slaw and pickles); Krispie Fried Chicken (Rice Krispie fried chicken, miso maple butter and ranch pickle slaw) and Mushroom Raclette (panko crusted mushroom patty, melted raclette, caramelised onion, lambs lettuce and smoked garlic mayo), which will sit alongside aged beef burgers for which Burger & Beyond are known.

Sides are by no means an after-thought with new additions such as Fries, bone marrow gravy and cheese; and Truffle tots. A concise dessert offering will also be available with a choice of a couple of sweets including Deep fried blueberry pie, clotted cream ice cream.

Directors Craig Povoas and Tom Stock commented, “We are thrilled to be opening our first restaurant in Shoreditch, the location is perfect and the design brings our vision to life. The restaurant will showcase a different side to Burger & Beyond whilst staying true to the foundations of our brand, something that is not always possible within the constraints of the street food market.”
