P Franco & Bright team to open Peg in Hackney

From the pair behind P Franco, a third outlet set to open tomorrow, 20 February, on the site where the firm's Legs branded eatery and wine bar was in London's E9.

The all counter dining and drinking space on Hackney's Morning Lane, named Peg, will offer a simple menu and sounds from a record player.

This will be a wine-led offer, serving dishes influenced by Japanese izakaya bar snacks, served on tables made out of recycled yoghurt pots.

In charge of the kitchen is chef Byron Fini, who has arrived from Bright, Brawn and, before that, Burnt Ends in Singapore.

Founded by Liam Kelleher and James Noble, Peg will join sister site, P Franco in E5, which opened in 2014, and the 2015-opened Bright in E8.
