Crosby Coffee secures first branded hotel partnership

Merseyside-based Crosby Coffee has struck its first branded hotel partnership with Aloft Liverpool, which featured in the prestigious Michelin Guide.

Aloft Liverpool will now serve speciality blend Crosby Coffee in its WXYZ Bar and NYL Restaurant and Bar.

Launched in 2014 in the town of Crosby in Merseyside, Crosby Coffee was created by school friends Jack Foster and Mark Slinger, and provides high grade, roasted-to-order coffee from its Waterloo roastery to more than 250 stockists.

Mark Slinger, director of Crosby Coffee, said, “This is a significant signing for us and marks the first time our product will be sold within a branded hotel.

“We’ve been around for almost five years and business continues to go from strength to strength. However, at its core, it’s still all about offering the very best and freshest coffee.”

Takis Melitsiotis, General Manager at Aloft Liverpool, said, “Crosby Coffee has quickly earned its reputation as a premium coffee roaster and we’re thrilled to bring it to the table here at Aloft Liverpool.

“Not only are we supporting an emerging local business, we’re providing our guests with a premium coffee offering, lovingly prepared in Merseyside. It’s a win-win partnership for us.”

Aloft Liverpool is located in the city’s iconic Grade II-listed Royal Insurance Building and is operated by RBH, the UK’s leading independent hotel management company.
