Nisa launches wine campaign to drive sales


With warmer weather and lighter evenings, Nisa is helping to support its retailers by launching an in-store Wine Festival to drive footfall and sales with excellent deals across a wide range of wines.

The promotion, which will run from Monday 15th April until Sunday 5th May, has become a staple in Nisa’s events calendar and will feature an extensive range of red, white and rosé wine as well as prosecco for the fizz lovers.

The Wine Festival is being supported by a bespoke marketing campaign which includes themed POS in stores and posts on Nisa’s consumer-facing social media channels which will focus on pairing the wines to relevant occasions. For example, which one to sip alongside a roast beef dinner and which one to purchase to impress the in-laws.

Danielle Sylvester, Nisa’s Wholesale Category Controller, commented, “Research shows that over a third of shoppers decide to purchase wine whilst in-store. By offering our retailers this theatrical Wine Festival event, we hope it will drive increased basket spend.

“The British public love getting in from work, putting up their feet and pouring themselves a glass of their favourite tipple. As Summer is rapidly approaching, providing our retailers with these deals ensures we’re supporting them in increasing footfall, profitability and helping to meet a predicted rise in consumer demand.”
