Good Eating Co opens cafe at Northern & Shell building


Leading workplace dining specialist, The Good Eating Company has opened a new restaurant, Café GEC, at the iconic Northern & Shell building on Lower Thames Street, London.

Café GEC is open 8am to 10pm and offers a bistro-style menu from breakfast through to dinner as well as a licensed bar for the building’s tenants as well as members of the public.

The menu will include some of The Good Eating Company’s popular dishes using the finest, natural ingredients sourced from carefully selected suppliers. Dishes include the GEC scotch egg and sausage roll; Mr C’s chilli paneer; lobster & cray fish mac ‘n’ cheese; grilled salmon with freekeh pilaf and pomegranate and Korean style BBQ pulled pork burrito.

In addition to the new cafe, The Good Eating Company will also provide food services to the tenants of the building for hospitality and events.

The landmark office building with its iconic blue glazed elevation on the north side of the River Thames is the head office for Northern & Shell, a media organisation which recently changed its core activity to property development and lottery management. Office space is also occupied by a range of other organisations.

Café GEC joins The Angel Building, 200 Gray’s Inn Road and the Business Design Centre where The Good Eating Company operates workplace dining services which are also open to the general public.
