Rocket Leisure to open fourth London site in October

Pioneering hospitality business, Rocket Leisure is to open Eastcheap Records in Monument, London in October 2019.

The opening will mark the company’s fourth site in the capital as it continues to build on the success of its live music destinations.

Spanning an impressive 4,000 sq. ft., the venue will accommodate space for 350 party goers, replacing the former Maplin site on the corner of Eastcheap and Lovatt Lane.

With a core focus on great live music, the venue will bring with it the brand’s relaxed, welcoming attitude and love of good times, as well as delicious cocktails and tasty pizza.

Since opening its first location on Venn Street, Clapham in December 2010, Rocket Leisure has proven to be a popular destination for city goers, building a loyal following of locals and visitors alike.

The brand’s latest launch forms part of an exciting growth plan for Rocket Leisure with further expansion in the pipeline.

Russell Taylor, Director at Rocket Leisure said, “With our long-established venues in South London and Shoreditch, a lot of workers in the City will have already experienced our brand, so opening in Monument felt like the natural progression for The Records Bars portfolio.

'We hope that our offering of great live music will bring a fresh approach to nightlife in the area, and we’re excited to welcome all existing and new customers through our doors.”
