Former Stoke-On-Trent motel lease on market for £1.2m

A closed hotel, previously operating as the Plough Motel, in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire, has been brought to market by Christie & Co, with a £1.2m price tag for a long leasehold.

The substantial site has two buildings which include 36 en suite bedrooms, a pub and restaurant, and two self contained apartments which are ideal for use as owner’s or staff accommodation.

The site sits in a popular location for visitors to the city, for both business and leisure, as it is in close proximity to the bet365 stadium and the city centre.

The current owner, Khan Estates is looking to sell the hotel in order to focus on other business ventures.

Nicole Madin, Business Agent at Christie & Co is handling the sale, said, 'Assets of this nature rarely come to the market where an incoming operator could design the entire food, beverage and hotel offering.

'There are a number of local businesses which would offer a great customer base, with the added benefit of the bet365 stadium in close proximity.”
