£1.35m Cambridgeshire inn comes to market

Savills, on behalf of Complete Hotels Ltd, has brought to market The Queens Head Inn near Peterborough at a guide price of £1.35m.

The Grade II-listed country inn and restaurant is set across a 1.02 acre site in the popular village of Nassington. The site offers 10 en suite bedrooms, plus a one-bed manager/staff accommodation with lounge, and a 4-bed owners accommodation which, subject to permissions, may be converted into additional letting rooms.

The Queens Head also benefits from an AA Rosette restaurant plus a bar and outdoor dining area with extensive gardens overlooking the river Nene.

Additionally, the site features a function suite and terrace with 70 covers, popular for both conferences and weddings with over 40 weddings being booked at the property last year. There is car parking for around 35 spaces as well as two available boat moorings.

Situated in an idyllic location, The Queens Head is located on Station Road approximately 10 miles to the west of Peterborough. The nearby A1(M) and A47 roads provide access to the wider motorway network and Peterborough railway station provides direct services to London, Edinburgh, Leeds and Birmingham.

Tom Cunningham, licensed leisure director at Savills, commented, “The Queens Head presents a rare opportunity to acquire the freehold interest in a well-established and popular country inn. With its picturesque location and backdrop, along with high quality amenities, we are expecting strong interest in this site.”
