New Miller & Carter to open on Kent coast

Mitchells & Butlers' steakhouse brand, Miller & Carter is to create about 40 jobs at a new steak restaurant in Herne Bay, Kent, which will open on 8 November.

The new restaurant will take over from the Talmead Harvester, which will close on 29 September.

Miller & Carter serves up breakfast, lunch and dinner daily, offering a range of pub food including barbecue dishes, rotisserie chicken, and a salad bar.

The main focus is naturally on its steak offer, which includes ribeye, fillet, sirloin and chateaubriand, and there is also a range of burgers, salads, and fish dishes.

Miller & Carter has been awarded 'Masters of Steak’ from Craft Guild of Chefs. Their meticulous inspection of our field to fork practices, from the way cattle are reared, to how steaks are butchered, aged and cooked, has led to this industry-leading award.
