Gousto to create 700 new jobs following £30m investment

The UK’s biggest-selling recipe box business, Gousto is to more than double the workforce with 700 new jobs over the next three years.

The job opportunities break down as 400 new staff at its distribution centre in Spalding and a further 300 at its London headquarters.

Gousto secured a £30m investment two months ago, and plans to expand following a period of rapid sales growth.

The new funds will be used to expand the group's rapidly growing technology team, while roles will also be created in data science, analytics, software engineering and user experience.

Timo Boldt, chief executive officer and founder, said, “We are relishing the next stage in Gousto’s evolution, investing in innovative technology to allow us to offer the most choice, the most varied delivery options, the best quality meals that arrive in the shortest lead time, for the lowest price.”

The company has secured more than £100m in funding since it was founded in 2012.
