Loch Leven Brewery plans new brewery & visitor centre

Award-winning Loch Leven Brewery is submitting plans to build a new 10,000 sq ft brewery and visitor centre at Loch Leven to meet demand.

This artisan brewery is known for its iconic ‘Great Scots’ brands: Outlaw King (named after King Robert The Bruce); Warrior Queen (inspired by Mary Queen of Scots); Shining Knight (named after Andrew Carnegie); and Kingslayer, named after one of Loch Leven’s directors, Jamie Montgomery’s ancestors, reputed to have killed King Henry II.

The brewery, which was opened in 2009, also renowned for its gluten-free beer, currently has a tap room (pictured) attached to the brewery, which has drawn beer lovers from far and wide.

In addition, the tap room offers a selection of local Loch Leven gins, Mary Queen of Scots whisky, Perthshire produced cider and a range of alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks, teas & coffees.
