Real Eating Company opens 6th cafe in Canterbury

Independent all-day cafe group, The Real Eating Company has just opened its latest outlet in Canterbury.

Situated in the Whitefriars scheme, this is the second former Eat site the group has taken on, with more to follow.

The menu offers hand-crafted coffee, cakes, pastries, organic fresh soups and freshly made toasties. There are breakfast and brunch dishes, like Breakfast Benedict - two free-range poached eggs with bacon, fresh avocado and hollandaise sauce on an English muffin.

Managing Director Helena Hudson posted on Linked In, 'Pleased that we've been able to retain most of the original EAT team and what a cracking team they are!

'They've taken the step from big company culture into smaller company culture well within their stride. Very happy to welcome them into our small, but growing family.'

The Real Eating Company was created by Hudson in January 2004 and now has six cafes, including this new one, across the south of England.
