Crispin launches online grocery & wine shop plus dinner delivery

Spitalfields’ all-day restaurant and wine bar, Crispin has reopened as Crispin Stores, an online grocery store and bottle shop, offering a selection of beers and natural wine list, and takeaway coffees served from Crispin’s cafe each day.

It also features a weekly ‘ready meal’ dinner menu home delivery and takeaway service by new guest head chef Nazmul Hassan.

The seasonal 'ready meal’ dinner menu is curated by chef Hassan (@the.shaman), who joins Crispin following kitchen stints at notable London restaurants such Clipstone, Stem and Neo Bistro, where he rose to the role of head chef.

Guests can choose to opt for the ‘Dinner Feast Box for 2’ - which includes a snack, starter, two main dishes, a side & dessert for two people to share, akin to the ‘one of everything’ option for which Crispin has become known; then deciding whether they order with a bottle of wine to share at £58.50 (or £38.50 without wine) - we know which we would choose!

The menu will change regularly depending on the produce available, with dishes such as Burrata, courgette, elderflower & breadcrumbs’ for starter, and Tagliatelle with slow cooked beef ragu or a vegetarian option of Cavatelli with vegan wild garlic pesto’ for main.

Desserts, such as Almond Tart, will round off the menu, alongside bread & butter and a sharing side dish. Guests can also opt to order individual dishes from the weekly menu should they wish, as well as additional wine and beer.

Crispin’s new online grocery store offers foodie cupboard staples such as anchovy fillets, Clarence Court eggs, cultured butter, gordal pitted olives by Brindisa, Kupros halloumi and Crispin Stores housemade pickled cucumbers and kimchi, and much more. Same day local delivery available (same day orders required before 1pm).

Crispin founders, Dominic Hamdy and Oliver Hiam along with chef Nazmul, have also plans to launch Crispin Pizza in the coming weeks once restrictions are lifted; offering a short menu of seasonal stone-baked pizzas served on the 50-cover social distanced outside terrace space next to the restaurant.
