Dessert cafe chain celebrates record £4m sales for October

Creams Café, the UK’s leading 90-strong dessert café brand, is celebrating a record-breaking October, with over £4m recorded sales across the estate.

The pandemic caused a change in consumer spending, particularly for Creams, with its delivery channels skyrocketing nationwide and accounting for 50% of total sales from April to October this year, versus just 21% in 2019 for the same period.

Adam Mani, CEO of Creams, said, “It’s been a really tough year for everyone, so to see Creams perform so well makes me incredibly proud.

'Despite the challenges of Covid-19, the majority of our stores have remained open and, determined to make the best of the situation, we pivoted our business, offering a seamless online experience for delivery and Click & Collect.

'It’s a real testament to the team’s hard work that we’ve achieved such exceptional sales.”

The outlets serve up crepes, waffles, sundaes, cakes, puddings, gelato and doughnuts, as well as milkshakes, bubble tea, and coffee. There is also a small range of savoury crepes, waffles and wraps.
