West Hampstead restaurant to send meals to ICU staff

Ham, West Hampstead’s neighbourhood restaurant, well-loved for championing produce from small British farms and artisan suppliers, has announced they will be preparing heathy, hearty and delicious meals to be sent to all the doctors and nurses working in the ICU ward at UCLH and Royal Free, based in the North West London area.

The NHS is under more pressure than ever. Their morale is low, they are exhausted and drained from working long hours on emergency rota's. The team at Hãm plan to put their current spare capacity to good work by having their chef’s prepare meals to be sent to the wards, to help boost spirits and to drive them through this extremely difficult time.

Founders, David & Rose will be donating £500 to the costs of suppling the food boxes and would love support by helping them raise money so that they can do as many days as possible cooking and sending food boxes to the hospitals.

Hãm will only use donations to buy ingredients, pay staff and deliver food. Nothing else. Also, Hãm will report to all donors how many food boxes, and where they were sent at the end of the project.
