Rüya to welcome back diners with Veuve Clicquot in May

Rüya, the Anatolian restaurant, bar and lounge in the heart of London’s Mayfair, will reopen their doors on Tuesday 18 May.

Rüya will be welcoming guests back with a complimentary glass of Veuve Clicquot champagne and its traditional Isli Patlican canapes - aubergine puree with walnuts and crispy coated aubergine chips, available for all guests at lunch and dinner until 20 May.

Influenced by various Anatolian regions stretching from the Mediterranean to the Black Sea, Rüya’s range of choices make for a truly unique lunch and dinner experience. The celebrated restaurant’s Chef Patron Colin Clague - formerly of Zuma and Caprice Holdings - has created a variety of dishes to welcome guests back.

The menu, available every Tuesday to Sunday, will feature new dishes including: Pekmezli Kanat - crispy chicken wings with molasses; Lakerda - salted cured tuna with compressed cucumber, tarmac & botarga; Karupz Peynir - compressed watermelon, sheep cheese, tomato & pine nuts; Yogurtlu Kebap - Adana kebap on tomato sauce, roasted garlic yoghurt & crispy croutons, and Grilled Halibut - slow cooked green beans with tomatoes.

At the bar, Rüya will offer guests their signature cocktail list, created by Head of Bar Francesco Medici, previously of Mr Fogg’s Residence in Mayfair.

The drinks list will transport guests through a journey of flavours of all seven regions of the Anatolian Peninsula, with new cocktails including: Whirling Dervish with Tequila, Domain de Canton, lemon, grapefruit, Cynar & coffee liquor; Taksim’s Blush with gin, lemon, raki, raspberry & caster sugar; Piquant Flower with vanilla vodka, lime, elderflower, honey & chilli, and El Yaz with rum, Aperol, pineapple juice, celery & raspberry.
