Crown Partnership in major recruitment drive with 140 new jobs created

A hospitality and catering group is looking to bolster its ranks in response to a surge in demand following the easing of lockdown restrictions by creating 140 new roles.

Crown Partnership has already employed 30 people across the group and is now embarking on another recruitment drive, with the new vacancies now available in London, Brighton, Kent, Coventry, Essex, Cambridgeshire and Portsmouth.

Aspiring individuals looking to succeed in hospitality are being encouraged to apply for roles in events, retail, sales and marketing as well as restaurant-based positions and chef roles.

Crown Partnership is the umbrella for a portfolio of events, hospitality and catering providers, committed to environmental sustainability with an emphasis on innovation and an appetite for disruption.

At the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, the group was forced to temporarily close its doors, but the organisation is now back recruiting for a mixture of full time, part time and temporary roles.

Crown Partnership is proud to be a fair and equal employer, with a recruitment system designed to ensure equality with selection for interviews based on anonymised CVs with a focus on talent and experience. The organisation also recognises the challenges posed by people returning to work as restrictions ease following the global pandemic, with measures put in place to create a kind and caring environment.

Employee benefits include performance bonus, additional holidays, family discount rates and flexible working opportunities.

Senior Partner Charles Beer (pictured) said: “With many people left unemployed as a result of the pandemic, it feels so good to be helping individuals back into work again.

“With all restrictions now having been lifted, it is great that the hospitality industry can thrive once again. Some parts of our business are already performing better than pre COVID-19.

“We are an employer which encourages creativity, collaboration and responsibility. We also thrive on being innovative and have a reputation for being on the pulse.”

Founded by entrepreneur Russell Morgan in 1978, the group has taken on some of the biggest names in the industry and succeeded, feeding Downing Street, leading London venues and serving the Royal Family along the way.

Headquartered in Essex, with sites across London but working nationally, the pioneering collaboration works by devolving autonomy to its component parts to foster entrepreneurship, while providing access to centralised functions and support.
