Londis Castle Stores in the coastal town of Pembroke has been purchased by experienced retailer, Nirosh Atchuthampillai.
Centrally located on Mainstreet in the historic castle town of Pembroke, the Londis-branded store benefits from excellent levels of passing trade, with a number of other businesses such as hotels, pubs and takeaways nearby.
The town’s main train station is situated only 0.5 miles from the store, making it a convenient pit-stop for those travelling through Pembroke. The store is also within close proximity to Pembroke Castle, meaning it captures the year-round tourists visiting the historic town.
The store itself is well established and offers a wide range of products, including a Nescafe & Go machine, and National Lottery terminal. Located above the store is the owners accommodation which comprises of a kitchen, living room, three double bedrooms and bathroom.

Nirosh commented, “I’m looking forward to developing the business as much as possible by introducing new product lines to serve the local community and potentially refurbishing the shop at the start of next year if all goes well.

Previous owner, Peter Robinson added, “I would like to thank all the staff and customers who have just been a joy to work with and serve at Castle Stores, we have hugely enjoyed our time running the store.
'The business has gone from strength to strength and we wish the new owner, Nirosh and the staff all the best with taking it forward.”
