The Railway Tavern, Mill Hill has reopened following a stunning £260k investment by independent pub operators Punch Pubs & Co, with Management Partners Celia Sesma and Daniel Martin taking the helm.
The popular community pub has received a complete internal and external refurb as part of the large investment, including brand new external signage to enhance the pub's kerb appeal and improved facilities including multiple large screen TVs to maximise guest experience and enjoyment of future sporting spectacles.
Guests are also treated to a fabulous new food menu curated by experienced Management Partner and chef Daniel who is thrilled to finally be able to give the community what it has been asking for at the pub by unveiling a seasonal menu full of wholesome pub classics, perfect for everyday dining. Speaking of the menu he said, “There’s something for everyone, my personal favourites have to be the handmade steak and ale pie, the beer-battered fish and skin-on chips and obviously our stupendous Sunday roast.”
Fellow Management Partner Celia also has extensive hospitality experience, having run successful restaurants in the UK and Spain over the last two decades. After settling locally a few years back she soon fell in love with the area and searched for an opportunity to run her own business when she saw the opportunity with Punch.
Celia can't wait to bring the pub back to life and place it right back into the heart of the community, saying, “I’m absolutely loving being back behind the bar, welcoming guests into the pub and sharing their joy at the return of the pub. There is nothing quite like it locally, so we’re expecting it to be a big hit – especially the Sunday Roast.”
