15th Island Poké to open on Portobello Road early next month

Island Poké will be bringing their Fresh Pacific Flavours to Portobello Road later this month. Marking their 15th Island in the capital, they’ll be serving up fresh poké bowls, their popular poké bao and brand-new warm broth pots from Saturday 4th March.

To celebrate the opening, the team have created a brand-new, limited edition Portobello poké bowl. Inspired the by brightly coloured houses in the area, the plant-based bowl will feature a teriyaki portobello mushroom mix, ginger pickled carrots, sweetcorn salsa, red cabbage and charred broccoli. The bowl will be finished with the brand’s most popular dressing, their house recipe sriracha mayo.

Available until the end of April, the bowl will be priced at just £5.95 and available for walk in customers and delivery exclusively in the Notting Hill area.

Island Poké will also be running a series of giveaway and activities in the lead up to the launch featuring exclusive offers and promotions to neighbouring residents, both instore and online. They will also be hosting their infamous £1 bowl day where customers can get their hands on any house bowl for just £1! Keep your eyes peeled on their socials for further announcements.

Founder James Gould-Porter shared, “Opening on the iconic Portobello Road has always been a goal of mine for the brand and I’m beyond excited about the opportunity we’ll have to embed ourselves in the local community, bringing our Fresh Pacific Flavours to even more people in London.”

Hemanth Bollini, Island Poké’s largest franchise partner, added, “This will be my 4th Island that I’ve opened with the team and couldn’t ask for a better location than Portobello Road. I’m looking forward to welcoming poké fans from the surrounding neighbourhood into our stunning new Island.”
