Loungers accelerates expansion amid plans for 'over 600' sites

Loungers has ramped up its site rollout significantly this year, unveiling a new location every 10 days.

Earlier this month, the company behind the Lounge, Cosy Club, and Brightside brands fortified its senior leadership team with three new appointments. This strategic move is aimed at providing robust support for the ongoing expansion and growth of the business.

Since the beginning of 2024, the group has opened new Lounges in Bromsgrove, Chepstow, Macclesfield, Westwood Cross, Bracknell, Ilkley, Sidcup and Yeovil.

Each site equates to a £1m investment into the local high street with an average of 30 new job opportunities, the group said.

The group reiterated it is on track to open 34 new sites in the current financial year.
