Demands Soars for No Added Sugar Ketchup at Mealtimes
As sugar awareness in schools increases, Real Good Ketchup is witnessing a surge in interest for its 100% natural, 75% less sugar ketchup than the market leader and reveals it is now serving over 50,000 pupils nationwide.

Having secured a deal with renowned catering firm, The Pantry, earlier in the year, Real Good Ketchup is also supplying its no added sugar ketchup to a further 200 schools as it continues in its mission to reduce sugar at mealtimes, with use of its ketchup effectively removing a sugar cube from every plate.

With Sugar Awareness Week, (13th - 19th November), just around the corner, there has never been a better time to reconsider menu choices and find sugar-reducing alternatives. “It is our mission for as many children as possible to enjoy Real Good Ketchup at mealtimes without the impact of high sugar and salt levels on the plate.' says Elizabeth Jones, founder of Real Good Ketchup.

“We have witnessed a marked increase in interest from caterers recently that are looking for healthier choices that deliver less sugar and salt. This Sugar Awareness Week is the perfect time for caterers to bring attention to the importance of reducing sugar in the out of home sector and highlight the simple swaps that can be made to do so,” continues Elizabeth.

Real Good offers a range of deliciously healthy ketchups, created from plant-based ingredients and 14 listed allergen free - the optimum choice for children and for those who need to reduce their sugar levels.

Real Good’s Ketchup contains 75% less sugar than regular tomato ketchups and 80% less salt. It is also free from preservatives, artificial flavourings and colourings, which has led to the brand being recognised by nutritionists and industry food experts for its nutritious sauces that taste great too.

Real Good is sustainably produced in the UK, with fully recyclable packaging and is available in easy-to-serve 2.7kg catering jars
