Sodexo and Shell have extended their partnership for five years to provide workplace services across 41 sites in 19 countries, covering corporate offices, refineries, offshore facilities, and camps—each with its own distinct service needs.
Starting November 1, 2025, Sodexo will continue serving 6,000 meals daily across 21 restaurants for Shell employees, leveraging its Modern Recipe, Kitchen Works, and Aspretto sustainable food and beverage brands—customised to each work environment.
The company will also deliver a comprehensive range of workplace services.

Education catering firm Alliance in Partnership (AiP) has retained contracts worth £4.2m since the start of the academic year, underscoring its focus on providing healthy, nutritious meals to pupils across the UK.
Serving over 400 primary and secondary schools nationwide, AiP continues to enhance the dining experience and support pupils’ learning throughout the day. Alex Verjee takes on role as managing director of Sodexo UK & Ireland’s universities business.
She joined the French contract catering group in 2011 in its health and care division, building catering and FM partnerships with NHS and private healthcare providers.
Since 2017, she has focused on universities and independent schools, most recently serving as partnerships director before her promotion.
She will continue to oversee the provision of food.

Dinner Ladies named official caterer at London’s Foundling Museum
London-based caterer Dinner Ladies has been appointed the preferred catering partner at the Foundling Museum in Bloomsbury.
This marks the company’s third major contract in the past year, adding to recent partnerships with St Albans Cathedral and Apothecaries’ Hall in the City of London.

Independents by Sodexo has entered into a five-year partnership with King’s School Rochester to deliver catering services.
Under the partnership, Sodexo will serve more than 130,000 meals each academic year to boarding and day pupils across both the junior and senior schools.
The company will deliver breakfast, lunch, supper, and hospitality services from two main kitchens and the on-site school café, Bob Doubles. In addition, a mobile catering trailer will provide refreshments for pupils and parents at the school’s sports centre and playing fields.

OCS renews Eurotunnel contract
OCS, a facilities management provider, has renewed its contract with Eurotunnel. The partnership has been extended for an additional five years, with the possibility of increasing this to seven, following a competitive tender process involving eight rival bidders.
As part of the agreement, OCS will continue delivering daily catering services across Eurotunnel sites, as well as off-site catering support for external events and meetings.
The team has expanded its vending services to enhance operational efficiency and launched a pre-order app.

She will begin her role at the luxury events and venue caterer on 6 October, working alongside current managing director Richard Groves, who will transition to chairman, as well as founder Jimmy Garcia and Jimmy’s Pop Up managing director Bertie Woodhead.

ISS awarded £10m two-year contract extension with Redbridge primary schools
Workplace and facilities management firm ISS has secured a two-year contract extension, valued at £10 million, to continue its education partnership with the London Borough of Redbridge Consortium.
Under this agreement, ISS will keep delivering food catering services to 32 primary schools across the northeast London borough, extending a successful 15-year collaboration with the Consortium.

Elior secures six-year catering contract with Dundee United Football Club
Elior has won a six-year contract to provide hospitality services at Dundee United Football Club’s 14,000-capacity Tannadice Park stadium.
While terms of the deal were not disclosed, Dundee United described it as the club’s largest ever commercial agreement.
Elior will start catering at the stadium this month, ahead of summer events and the kickoff of the new football season.

Compass Group’s White Oaks secures contract with Town & Country Housing
White Oaks, the senior living foodservice arm of Compass Group UK & Ireland, has signed a three-year agreement with Town & Country Housing, a not-for-profit housing association.
Under the agreement, White Oaks will deliver catering services to residents at four assisted living developments in Kent, covering a total of 242 self-contained apartments located in Maidstone, Gravesend, Tonbridge, and Larkfield.
An 18-strong team will manage the daily lunch service while fostering a sense of community among residents.

Under the new agreement, the Compass Group subsidiary will provide catering services to students at Broken Cross Primary Academy and Nursery, Adlington Primary School, Gawsworth Primary School, Nether Alderley Primary School, and Whirley Primary School.
