Nick Allen joins Gordon Ramsay Restaurants Global as Chief Financial Officer

Gordon Ramsay Restaurants Global has appointed Nick Allen to the role of Chief Financial Officer.

He brings over 20 years of retail and hospitality experience, most recently as Group CFO at Holland & Barrett and CFO of Starbucks EMEA.

His appointment follows a strong FY24, during which Gordon Ramsay Restaurants generated UK revenues of £134m and adjusted EBITDA of £12m.

In 2026, the group aims to grow its UK and international brand portfolio, focusing on franchising QSR concepts in the U.S., such as Gordon Ramsay Fish & Chips and Street Pizza.

In the past year, Gordon Ramsay Restaurants completed a strategic transaction with investment partner Lion Capital, uniting its UK and US businesses into a single global entity headquartered in London.

This spring, Gordon Ramsay will open the UK’s first Hell’s Kitchen restaurant at the Cumberland Hotel in London’s Marble Arch, in partnership with Clermont Hotel Group.

He also supported the launch of Bonheur by Matt Abé at the former Le Gavroche site in Mayfair, which opened last autumn.

Last month, Gordon Ramsay transformed Plane Food at Heathrow Terminal 5, which has been in operation since 2008, into the new Gordon Ramsay Plane Food Market.

The new concept features a selection of QSR brands from the restaurant group’s international portfolio, including Lucky Cat, Street Pizza, and Street Burger, served in a market-style format.

Chief executive of Gordon Ramsay Restaurants Global, Andy Wenlock, said: “I am delighted to welcome Nick to the team and in particular the business entering a new phase of growth in the UK and internationally, driving forward our strategy to expand our footprint among multiple markets, across all our diverse brands.”

Allen added: “I’m excited to join such a prestigious global brand with an incredible world class offering and to work closely with Andy and the senior leadership team in building out the group’s vision.”

Founded in 1998, Gordon Ramsay Restaurants Global represents the restaurant business of chef and TV personality Gordon Ramsay.

The group is among the UK’s largest privately-owned restaurant chains, with 34 restaurants across the country and another 63 worldwide, including in the USA, South Korea, Malaysia, the Philippines, France, Dubai, Singapore, and Thailand.

The group has earned eight Michelin stars worldwide, with three stars awarded to its flagship, Restaurant Gordon Ramsay, in Chelsea, London.
