Sodexo Live! has secured a further six-year extension to its catering partnership with the Royal Academy of Arts in London.
The renewal follows a competitive tender process and will see the catering giant continue to serve visitors at the prestigious museum’s RA Café, Courtyard Café and Summer Exhibition Bar.
Sodexo Live! has provided hospitality services at the Royal Academy since 2016.
The RA Café and the Sir Hugh Casson Room, located within the RA Members’ area at the Keeper’s House, are set to benefit from a major investment programme this year.
Under the partnership, Chef José Pizarro will create an exclusive menu for Royal Academy members at the Shenkman Bar & Garden and the Academicians Room, with Sodexo Live! Heritage Portfolio curating bespoke events at the Keeper’s House.
Claire Morris, chief executive of Sodexo Live! UK&I, said: “The Royal Academy of Arts is a well-known and popular destination for art lovers from across the world. Our culinary team serve delicious, freshly prepared dishes with a quintessential British feel but with global influences reflecting our commitment to creating memorable culinary moments for the Royal Academy’s friends, members, patrons and visitors and supporting its position as one of London’s leading cultural institutions.”
