Jamie Oliver could be set to sell stake in restaurant empire

Jamie Oliver has reportedly appointed Royal Bank of Canada to explore the options facing his restaurant group, which could include the sale of a stake in the business.

An investment could be used to expand the Jamie’s Italian and Barbecoa brands internationally. The celebrity chef owns seven restaurant brands in total, including Jamie's Italian and Fifteen.

Oliver's restaurant business had revenues of £110m with core earnings of around £14m, sources told Reuters in December.
