Grind is aiming to raise £1.5m on Crowdcube to fund the expansion of its London-based chain of four coffee shops with new sites, along with a coffee roasting facility and kitchen to service its sites.
Grind was born last year when East-Londoner David enlisted his friend Kaz, a DJ from Melbourne with a passion for coffee, to help create an Espresso Bar in Shoreditch.
The group's coffee shops also double up as cocktail bars and are situated in Shoreditch, Holborn, Soho and London Bridge, with a fifth site set to open in Covent Garden this summer.
