Flat Cap Hotels launches with first site in Crewe

Flat Cap Hotels, a new four-star boutique hotel company, has launched as it takes over The Vicarage Freehouse & Rooms in Crewe. The new firm is set to open a series of quirky, 'destination' sites in rural areas.

The restaurant, which offers breakfast, lunch, afternoon teas and dinner, features a '25-mile menu' as the ingredients used come from the gardeners, foragers, farmers and suppliers of Cheshire.

The Vicarage takes its inspiration from the Cheshire countryside, utilising British produce and resources while championing eco–sustainability. The menus change depending on the seasons and what can be sourced locally.

Along with a restaurant, The Vicarage offers 20 'Comfy' Twin & Double rooms and 6 'Signature Suites' with 24-hour room service.

Free breakfast, free WiFi in public areas, and free self parking are also provided. The site also features a meeting room.
