Butchery investment pays dividends for Harlech Foodservice


Reputable wholesaler Harlech Foodservice, located in Criccieth, Gwynedd, has added £4m to its annual turnover following the purchase of a local butchery business.

The business moved into fresh meat by purchasing a local butchery business in 2012 for £400k and sales now account for approximately 16% of their annual turnover.
Harlech Foodservice now sells premium own branded meats and turnover is projected to reach in excess of £20m by 2020 with a further £1m investment in the butchery arm.
