Mexican restaurant operator, Barburrito has acquired Scottish chain Pinto Mexican Kitchen with plans to reach 25 sites within the next 18 months.
Barburrito, which currently operates 17 restaurants, will swell its estate by five with the Pinto outlets, which are all positioned in high footfall locations in Edinburgh and Glasgow.
The operation will initially continue to operate under the Pinto brand and then will rebranded under the new look Barburrito brand over the next six months.
