Honest Burger eyes expansion in new year

Honest Burgers is looking to expand its chain of 11 restaurants next year with more sites in London and a possible outlet in Brighton by 2017.

The fast-growing burger business landed a £7m funding deal in January to open more restaurants this year.

The first Honest Burger outlet opened in Brixton Village in 2011, quickly becoming a success, and there are now nine restaurants across London.

The kitchen uses beef which is made from 35-day, dry-aged British steak from Yorkshire-based farm the Ginger Pig, which supplies seven butchers across London. Its handmade, rosemary-salted chips are unique to the chain and are also popular with diners.
