Award-winning biscuit manufacturer, Border Biscuits is to expand its factory in Lanark with a new production line, having secured a seven-figure funding deal from Clydesdale Bank.
Border Biscuits was founded in 1984 and now produces more than 24 types of biscuit and supplies to Tesco, Asda, Morrisons and Sainsbury’s.
The company reported sales of £14.3m for the 2014 year to December, up from £12.7m the prior year, and pre-tax profits of £1.14m (2013: £660,590).
