Waitrose is recruiting 100 staff for a new £20m 40,000 sq ft superstore due to open in Worcester this summer.
The city's Waitrose will be nearly double the size of its 25,000 sq ft Malvern store and feature a range of John Lewis goods, a coffee shop with outside seating, fish, cheese, meat and patisserie counters and 285 parking spaces.
Once open it will mean the 'big four' supermarket players will all have a presence in Worcester including Asda, Tesco and Sainsbury's.
