Innis & Gunn celebrates second site launch with beer marmalade creation

Edinburgh-based craft brewer, Innis & Gunn has opened its second bar-restaurant in Dundee, and has celebrated the launch by creating the ‘world’s first beer marmalade’.

The new 'spreadable beer', Marm & Ale, combines Innis & Gunn oak-aged IPA with Dundee’s finest preserve.

The Beer Kitchen is serving a range of craft beer, along with a specially curated menu featuring chopped and charred, low and slow-style dishes, as well as pub classics.

All food at Innis & Gunn’s Beer Kitchens are created with a focus of matching them with beers. Expertly trained waiting staff will guide diners on the best food and beer pairings.

The new bar houses two five hectolitre tanks serving unpasteurised lager fresh from the brewery, as well as an open cellar with limited edition oak aged cask beers.

The Dundee Beer Kitchen joins the first site in Edinburgh. Innis & Gunn aims to roll out the casual dining brand across the UK and internationally, with plans for another two sites by the end of the year.
