New Hawaiian restaurant set for Fitzrovia

A new restaurant serving traditional Hawaiian food prepared with raw marinated ahi tuna is set to open in London's Fitzrovia this June.

Jeremy Coste, Gabriel Cohen-Elia and David Bellaiche, the trio behind North Audley Cantine and the downstairs bar Chez Chow, created the idea for Ahi Poké.

The eatery will be offering Poke Bowl - diners choose a base (quinoa, sushi rice or red kale), protein (ahi tuna, the fish mainly used in poké, sea bream, salmon or marinated mushrooms), sauce and toppings.

Signature bowls will include ahi tuna, sushi rice, scallions, red onion, black sesame, avocado, furikake, sesame shoyu.

For beverages there will be homemade iced teas and specialist non-alcoholic beverages imported from America. For dessert there will be a soft serve machine.

Ahi Poké food will also available to take away.
