Newcastle-based development company, Malhotra Group is to open an American-style diner and a 10-pin bowling alley in Jesmond, as part of a £10m investment scheme.
The property firm is set to transform a former restaurant on Osbone Road into The Den, which will serve up a menu of sliders, shakes and sharing platters.
There will be a 95-cover diner plus room for 48 seats, where a pop-up cafe will provide milkshakes and hot and cold drinks.
There will also be a boutique, three-lane, 10-pin bowling alley, and a range of bar games, including giant Jenga and Connect 4, pool and table football.
The new venue will create around 40 full and part time jobs.
