Third Red Door opens in Manchester

Living Ventures has just opened Manchester’s newest cocktail bar, Red Door, following a £350k refit, creating 20 jobs.

The 2,800 sq ft drinking den is the brand's third outlet, and is situated in Deansgate, below Living Ventures' bar-restaurant branded site, The Botanist.

Mixologist, Blue Jones has created the cocktails that include a giant disco ball sharer filled with Ketel One vodka, Licor 43, apple and cranberry juice and a bottle of prosecco, and ‘the one with the balloon’ made with vodka, rhubarb liqueur and syrup, lemon juice, egg white and custard essence, garnished with a lemongrass-infused helium balloon.

There’s also a carefully-chosen spirit selection, priced from £3.50 right up to £110 a shot for the ‘super-premium’ range of rare finds like a Highland Park 40-year-old whisky.

Music is a key focus, with a stage area hosting live acts three nights a week, providing a platform for both established and up-and-coming local acts, and DJ sets mixing up disco, funk, soul and rock and roll for a crowd of up to 250 people.

Red Door is open from 5pm daily, with a 2am licence on weeknights and 3am at the weekend.
