The Lucky Onion & Polpo founder to host exclusive supper club

The Lucky Onion will be teaming up with award-winning restaurateur, writer and broadcaster Russell Norman, to host an intimate supper club on 22 September at No. 38 The Park in Cheltenham, as part of their ongoing series of monthly supper clubs.

The Lucky Onion will also be offering an exclusive stay package for those wanting to stay overnight after the supper and enjoy the full Lucky Onion experience.

Inspired by his love of Venice, Russell Norman founded POLPO back in 2009, setting up his first restaurant on Beak Street in the heart of London’s Soho. Only seven years later, POLPO now has eleven restaurants across London and further afield, with branches in Brighton and Bristol.

Norman will be bringing his signature Italian small plates to Cheltenham for an intimate supper that will reflect the elegance and charm of Venetian backstreet wine bars.

Hel will host this special occasion alongside The Lucky Onion owners Sam and Georgie Pearman at No. 38 The Park, where he will create a four-course feast, including dishes such as Hot smoked salmon & horseradish crostini, risotto with cuttlefish in its ink & gremolata and fillets of John Dory with orange, pink peppercorns & dill, for a group of privileged diners.

With only 50 tickets for the supper available, this will be a special event for foodies who love Venetian-style food and drink and, would like to enjoy it in the beautiful surroundings of The Lucky Onion’s boutique Georgian Townhouse, No. 38 The Park. The supper will be served family-style over large banquette tables in the dining room of the hotel.

Individual tickets are priced at £60 per person, with packages starting from £270 for two people which include a pair of tickets to the supper club with Russell Norman, one night’s stay at No. 38 The Park and breakfast for two.

Priority booking goes live on 19 July at 12:30pm to Lucky Onion Club Members and will open to non-members from 1pm.
