Mitchells and Butlers-owned brand, Miller & Carter is to open a new 180-seat steak restaurant and bar in Rothley, Leicestershire at the end of September.
The restaurant will be opening in the space of the Red Lion Inn, which is also owned by M&B. The inn will remain open until 13 August, and then will close for refurbishment.
The original pub will be transformed both inside and out, with booth seating and modern artwork replacing the current English pub style.
The new steakhouse is seeking to recruit up to 50 people to join the team, including chefs, dessert chefs and grill chefs, to deliver the award-winning steaks.
Miller & Carter will also be opening steakhouses in Northampton and Wollaton Park, in Nottingham.
